Endless Sun Kissed Glow

I wanted to keep my sun-kissed glow for weeks to come, as well as take care of my skin. My goal was to find products that create a fresh, healthy glow. After some searching and testing, I’m pleased to say I’ve found some perfect items from Sephora Canada to build a beautiful glowing look.

There are a couple keys to getting a soft, dewy makeup look. For starters, you need to have a clean, hydrated face. I’ve started putting a couple drops of AERIN Rose Oil on my face before I add my moisturizer. It’s a versatile oil – I use it on the ends of my hair and cuticles, too – with a soft rose scent. Plus it smells heavenly!  I also love to prep my face with this Rose Hibiscus Coconut toner to give it a fresh and nourished look before I even apply any makeup.

Sephora products for a summer glow Be sure to have a good lip balm on hand. I like to put some on while I prep my skin so it has a chance to soak in before I go anywhere near lipstick. I’m a fan of the Sephora Coconut Water Lip Balm. Underneath the cute packaging is a deeply hydrating lip balm that twists up like a lipstick. The coconut scent instantly transports me to a warm sandy beach with palm fronds fluttering in the breeze. So delightful!

Once your skin is prepped, create a clean, even skin tone by applying your favourite concealer and/or foundation. I’m a big fan of Bobbi Brown Foundation SPF 15 and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. They blend well and don’t look caked on. The SPF is an added bonus, too. (Tip: If you haven’t tried it yet, a Beauty Blender gives you a flawless look and makes it easy to apply your makeup.)

Sephora products for a summer glow Bobbi Brown Nude Finish Illuminating Powder is a lightweight pressed powder that instantly brightens your face. It’s magic! It adds a subtle, warm glow without looking streaky. I love using it as a highlighter over a bronzer or blush. I love it because it goes on sheer and smooth enough that it doesn’t feel heavy at all.

Once your makeup is done, I recommend finishing with Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. It helped keep my makeup looking dewy and natural. A short mist (or two) makes a lovely pick-me-up in the middle of the day, too!

Make sure your skin is hydrated, finish your look with a couple swipes of mascara, and you’ll have everyone asking whether you just returned from vacation.

Tell me: What are your best tips and tricks for achieving a fresh, glowing face? Have you tried these products? I’d love to know!
