Coastal Bathroom & Le Petit Marseillais

In this current season of life, being pregnant and embracing the fresh start of a new year, I’m filled with excitement about what’s to come. I love using this time to usher out the old and bring in the new – especially around the house! January has been a month where I’ve decluttered and freshened up each room in our home! Simplicity is key for me right now, especially when it comes to the kid’s rooms – including their coastal Jack & Jill bathroom!

A few years ago when I was in Paris and pregnant with Lillya, I remember dreaming up all our plans for the house we were building. As I considered the layout of our upper floor, I knew I wanted to do a coastal theme – think blues, whites, and neutrals – for the Jack and Jill bathroom between Liam’s bedroom and our baby-to-be’s nursery. The pedestal sinks were one of the reasons I wanted to keep that simple aesthetic in the bathroom, having only a few products out like their toothbrushes, soap, towels, etc.

Okay, back to Paris and me day-dreaming about the kid’s space! The first time I ever saw Le Petit Marseillais®: Troy and I were wandering through a Parisian grocery store when I saw Le Petit Marseillais® on the shelf and fell in love with their branding. I instantly bought four bottles to bring home, because of how cute they would look in the kid’s bathroom. It was the best decision because not only did I fall in love with their branding and packaging (which fit with the overall aesthetic perfectly), but the soap itself too!  It smells absolutely delightful!

When the opportunity to partner with Le Petit Marseillais® came up, I knew it was a great fit. I was thrilled that this brand was now available in Canada. Opening up a bottle and enjoying the fresh scent brings back so many sweet memories of my little babies and trips to Paris!
