Get The Look: Vintage Artwork

Having art in my home is a necessity for me. It can bring a room to life, as well as add character and individualism into a space. It is also very personal, so what you like versus what your friend likes may be completely different, but the great thing about it is it’s your choice, for your space. I especially love new vs. old with a mix of vintage art.

Did you know that Walmart has acquired art.com? They have a ton of beautiful pieces, you can get lost just searching through all their choices. With gorgeous pieces to meet your vintage needs or something modern and new. Today, we decided to round up a couple of our favourites and categorize them, making it easy to find your perfect pieces.

LANDSCAPES: ONE | TWO | THREE |
BOTANICAL FLORALS: ONE | TWO | THREE |
NAUTICAL VIEWS: ONE | TWO | THREE |
ORGANIC LINES: ONE | TWO | THREE | FOUR |

As I mentioned above vintage paintings or prints are a huge trend right now and Walmart has not disappointed with its endless options! Whether you’re creating a gallery wall, adding a piece onto your styled shelves or leaning it up against a wall/countertop in your kitchen, they are the perfect addition.

Florals and botanicals are a welcomed addition into a little girl’s room, or would work well in a study or sitting room (think corner nook with a bench seat). Nautical will always have a place in my home, I just love how classic it is, and it always seems to fit so well into a little boy’s room. A more coastal landscape can be a great addition to a living room area or shelves.

Line drawings work well layered in and amongst pieces, if you like a more modern touch. They work well in offices and studies with a simplicity that can also balance out other, more colourful or busy artwork.

We hope today’s post will help you decorate your space and inspire you to create some beautiful gallery walls or specific vignettes within your homes. Here is some more inspo for styling once you order your art!
