Grapefruit Margarita with Jalapeno

Happy Cinco de Mayo! (To get you excited for tomorrow of course!) We wanted to have some fun by pulling together a fun spin on the classic margarita. It’s refreshing and sweet with a touch of heat. Hello, fresh-cut jalapeños! Perfect for a sunny day in early May while enjoying some time outside with your friends and family! This refreshing margarita cocktail on the rocks is perfect with or without a splash of tequila too! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Grapefruit Margarita with Jalapeno


Ingredients Per Margarita
1/2 tsp of sugar or a small splash of simple syrup is desired
2 ounces of Tequila or Mezcal
squeeze of fresh lime juice
3 ounces Grapefruit Juice
1-2 slices of Jalapeños if you like some heat
Pink Himalayan Rock Salt (For the rim)
Lime Wedges for garnish 

Directions
Run a lime wedge around the around the rim of a glass. Press it into the pink Himalayan salt.

Add fresh grapefruit juice, sugar, ice, and mezcal or tequila to a shaker. Shake it with a few cubes of ice.

Pour over a glass filled with ice and top with a splash of club soda (if desired), lime wedges,  jalapenos, and a slice of grapefruit. Enjoy!
