August is such a wonderful month for us on the West Coast – this is when it truly feels like summer.  This month is usually our warmest month of the year, so I really do cherish the long sun-filled days this month has to offer, as I long for them so much in the winter months.

This month’s digital downloads highlight one of my all-time favourite flowers: Hydrangeas. I have them in my garden in different varieties. I love being able to snip off a couple of branches and place them around the house in a pretty vase – they are just so classic and timeless.  This illustration is whimsical in all the right ways. Because we all loved it here at MH so much, I thought we could offer it in a couple of different variations to suit everyone’s taste! Isn’t the blue gorgeous??
